Craft Named Finalist For Workboat Magazine’s Significant Boat Of The Year 2024
Craft, Tampa’s newest dining river cruise, has been named a finalist for WorkBoat Magazine’s prestigious Significant Boat of the Year 2024 award. Voting is now open for this annual contest, which celebrates groundbreaking vessels that showcase innovation, exceptional design, and industry-leading performance.
Craft, designed to navigate the low bridges of Downtown Tampa with an air draft of less than 11 feet, brings a European-style river cruising experience to Florida. Setting sail from the Channel District at the Yacht StarShip dock adjacent to Sparkman Wharf, this 2-hour culinary and cocktail river journey provides guests with an elevated dining experience while cruising through Tampa’s picturesque waterways, including the Hillsborough River and downtown channels.
Craft is a multi-million-dollar investment and represents several firsts in the passenger vessel industry. It’s the first dining cruise vessel in the U.S. to feature an open kitchen with cook-to-order gas equipment. Additionally, it’s the first low-profile river dining cruise vessel in Florida, and includes a unique “boat on a boat” concept—featuring a 1914 vintage wooden cruiser repurposed as the Bow & Stern bar.
